Generate a CSV export from MaxCut in a custom, user-defined layout so the output can be imported directly into external systems such as Cobus.
In the current workflow, the Job Summary report already contains most of the required data, but the structure and formatting do not match what Cobus expects. Manual editing is required every time, which slows the process and introduces error risk.
Requested Capability:
• Either, a Cobus-ready export (example attached), or
• Ability for users to design custom report templates.
• Control over which data fields are included.
• Ability to define the column order, formatting, and CSV structure.
• Export reports directly to CSV using these custom templates.
• Sufficient flexibility to support different external systems (Cobus, ERP, etc).
Why This Matters:
• Better integration of MaxCut within larger automated workflows.
• Eliminates repetitive manual formatting of exported data.
• Improves accuracy and efficiency in production planning.
• Enables customers to use MaxCut as the optimisation engine feeding their ERP/CNC chain.
Current Workaround:
Users manually edit MaxCut’s Job Summary export or build Excel sheets that convert MaxCut’s exports into Cobus-ready CSV files.
