Graphical representation of the parts of a cabinet

We have to rebuild the cabinet finding parts among hundreds of separate pieces. So my suggestion is to study a synthetic way to represent every separate piece as a part of the whole, that's the cabinet. Maybe graphic symbols for bottom, upside, doors and so on.
