Drawing Groove Lines for CNC Programming

In the new version of MaxCut, grooves are now drawn using rectangles, whereas previously they were drawn as single lines. While this update will undoubtedly improve the system's overall usability, having the option to draw simple machining lines remains very important for CNC programming operations (just like it was in the previous version).

Is there any possibility of keeping or adding the option to create groove lines? I will cite two examples of why this is needed:

Drawer Side: I have a 7mm groove where I only need a simple line (not a rectangle) to direct the tool path.
Cabinet Side: I have a chamfered edge where I use a 45º router bit to make the cut. In the previous version, the tool path for this bit was defined by something like groovingwidth_45depth_18. It was a simple straight line representing the exact linear path the specific tool would follow to make the cut.
